Henrietta the Traveling Turkey has arrived in Sweetwater to celebrate Thanksgiving. Thanks to Billie Joe and Vera Ellen McCombs, she makes the journey each year in November. She first traveled to Philip Nolan in 1993 and has since made annual appearances at Sweetwater Intermediate School. This year she made her stop at East Ridge Elementary. She is pictured on her arrival day with the East Ridge Principal Mike Marlett, The McCombs’, East Ridge Counselor Malinda Hamby, Teacher Jody Foster and her first grade class. Henrietta is available for photos and can be found on the southeast corner of the East Ridge campus until after the Thanksgiving holidays.
