Local lakes benefit from recent rains

Sweetwater and Nolan County have seen many rains in the past few weeks and area lakes have benefitted from those rains this year.
This month, Oak Creek has received 0.80 inches of rain with 8.81 inches for the year so far, bringing the lake to five feet, seven inches below the spillway. Lake Trammell received more for the month with 2.30 inches, but less for the year with 6.86 inches of rain, bringing the lake to 10 feet, four inches below the spillway. Lake Sweetwater has received 1.78 inches for the month and 6.61 inches of rain for the year, bringing it to five feet, one inch below the spillway.
The filter plant has received 2.35 inches for the month and 8.07 inches of rain for the year. Booster B has seen 1.17 inches of rain for the month and 7.04 inches for the year. The wastewater plant has received 1.81 inches of rain for the month and 6.38 inches of rain for the year. Well field P.S. received 1.80 inches of rain this month with 8.37 inches of rain for the year and County Road 151 has received 1.25 inches for the month with 6.83 inches of rain for the year.
