The Nolan Divide Community Center is in need of a new roof. To help defray the cost of the repair, there will be a family fun night held at the community center, located at Highway 126 in Nolan, beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2009. There will be many activities such as a silent auction, air castles, face painting, food and more. “Come join us for a night of fun for the whole family,” said community center president David Triska. “There will be great items to bid on in our silent auction and we will be serving some of your favorite summertime foods.”
For the adult meal, there will be cheeseburgers or two chili cheese dogs to start, with french fries, pinto beans, homemade ice cream, peach cobbler and a drink, all for $8. For the children (12 and under) there will be hot dogs, french fries, pinto beans, homemade ice cream, peach cobbler and a drink, all for $4.
Many area businesses have donated items for the silent auction. Other businesses have helped with the cause with cash donations.
