One of the homes that will be on the Tour of Homes on Monday, Dec. 7, 2009 is the home of Buck and Kim Cason. The home is located on 1412 Tanya and was built in 1987. Mr. and Mrs. Cason have lived there for five years.
Buck Cason is the plant manager at United States Gypsum or USG. Kim Cason is the secretary at the First Presbyterian Church here in Sweetwater. Their child, Shelby Cason, is a freshman at Sweetwater High School and is very active in athletics, school and church. Their home boasts 2500 square feet of living space, has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a formal living room and a swimming pool. The style of the Cason Home is ranch style. The home is traditionally furnished with four different color schemes: Greens, browns, khaki and cream. The Cason Family's favorite room of the house is the kitchen. "We love to cook and eat," said Kim Cason. "It's also a great gathering space," she explained. "And in the summertime we spend a lot of our time in the backyard around the pool," Mrs. Cason went on to say. The proceeds from the Tour of Homes will go to the Pioneer Museum. There is also a raffle to be held in conjunction with the Tour of Homes and the proceeds from it will go to the Civic Improvement Fund of the Woman's Forum. |
