Pink flamingos land in Sweetwater
Written by Staff Reports
Sunday, 31 January 2010
If you haven’t noticed yet, you will. There is a flock of pink flamingos that have arrived in Sweetwater. They have been spotted landing in people’s yards, just showing up out of nowhere. It is a flock of 24 birds. If you see them please contact someone at the Word of God Church and let them know. The T.A.G. Teen Ministry is trying to catch them. If they land on your lawn, please let the professionals handle them.
"We have a pink flamingo task team in the T.A.G. Ministry. For a donation to the Teen Ministry, that will help sponsor their trip to Aquire The Fire in Dallas this April, they will come handle the flamingos with care and love, and remove them for you," said pastor of Word of God Church Dale Stowe.
The pink flamingos have made their way into several yards and businesses in Sweetwater and will continue to travel. One can call the T.A.G. Pink Flamingo Task Force at (325) 518-0418, to have the flamingos removed from the premises for a donation and they can even be transported to a location of your choice such as a friend's yard.
