Funeral services for Alvina Navarrette Alvidrez, 87, of La Puente, Calif. will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2010, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Udegbunam officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Alvidrez died Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, in El Encanto Rehab Home in Industry, Calif.
She was born Nov. 2, 1922, in Sweetwater, Texas. She was a member of St. Louise of France Catholic Church.
She is survived by brothers, Ysidro Navarrette and wife Vera of Sweetwater, Raul Navarrette and wife Marcela of La Puente, Calif., Si Acuna and wife Gloria of Sweetwater and Richard Acuna and wife Lolly of Odessa; one sister, Angelina Garcia of Temple, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Simon and Erlinda Navarrette; her husband, Conrado Alvidrez; and three brothers, Frank Navarrette, Ruben Navarette and Raymond Acuna, Jr. |
