The 32nd Judicial District Court was busy Monday morning with many entering guilty pleas to Judge Glen Harrison.
Kristofer Wayne Alexander pled guilty to indecency with a child by exposure, a third degree felony. The date of offense was Oct. 4, 2009. Alexander was sentenced to five year's confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division, but had that sentence probated for five years. he will have to pay a fine of $1,000, $655 in court costs, $500 in attorney's fees and serve 160 hours of community service. As part of his plea agreement, Alexander must apply for an original or renewed Texas driver's license or personal identification no later that 30 days after release from confinement or upon receipt of written notice from the Texas Department of Pubic Safety and he must annually renew the license or ID. In addition, the DPS shall place an indication on the defendant's driver's license or ID that the defendant is subject to sex offender registration requirements. In addition, the clerk of the court shall send a copy of this order to the DPS and defendant. Margo Danielle Gomez entered a plea of guilty to the charge of assault of a public servant, a third degree felony. The date of offense was March 22, 2009. She received five years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, probated to five years. She will pay a $1,000 fine, $305 in court costs, $500 in court-appointed attorney's fees and serve 160 hours of community service. Lillian Ann Ehrenberg pled guilty to driving while intoxicated, a third degree felony. The date of offense was Jan. 13, 2009. She received four years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, probated to four years. She will pay a fine of $1,200 and $470 in court costs. She will have to serve 10 days of mandatory jail time and will have her driver's license suspended for one year. Ehrenberg will also have to serve 160 hours of community service. Henry Pierce Payne, Jr. pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance, namely morphine, a state jail felony. The date of offense was Jan. 3, 2009. He received two years confinement in the State Jail Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and had that sentence probated to two years. He will pay a fine of $750, $370 in court costs and $500 in attorney's fees. He will also have to serve 120 hours of community service. Perfecto Joseph Castillo pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance, namely 3,4-methylenedioxy methamphetamine, a second degree felony. The date of offense was Oct. 24, 2008. He received five years of community supervision. He will have to pay a fine of $1,000, $370 in court costs and $140 in restitution to the Texas Department of Pubic Safety Crime Laboratory in Abilene. He will also have to serve 240 hours of community service. David Len McArthur pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance, namely cocaine, a state jail felony. The date of offense was May 9, 2008. He received two years confinement in the State Jail Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, probated to two years. He will have to pay a fine of $1,000, $370 in court costs and $140 in restitution to the Texas Department of Pubic Safety Crime Laboratory in Abilene as well as $500 in attorney's fees. He will also have to serve 120 hours of community service. Benjamin Joseph Scott pled guilty to possession of marijuana, a state jail felony. The date of offense was Aug. 14, 2009. He received three years of community supervision. He will have to pay a fine of $1,500, $370 in court costs, $140 in restitution to the Texas Department of Pubic Safety Crime Laboratory in Abilene as well as $500 in attorney's fees. He will also have to serve 120 hours of community service. Eric Eduardo Figueroa pled guilty to driving while intoxicated, a Class A Misdemeanor. The state abandoned second and third enhancements to the offense. The date of offense was Dec. 27, 2008. He received one year confinement in the Nolan County Jail, probated to two years. He will pay a fine of $1,500 and $470 in court costs. He will also have to serve 120 hours of community service. Figueroa will also have to serve 72 hours confinement in the Nolan County Jail and have his license suspended for 180 days. |
