Sweetwater Backpack Buddies officially began last week for 30 Sweetwater ISD students. Sweetwater Backpack Buddies is a local non-profit group that is dedicated to providing healthy food for children that have been identified as "chronically hungry" by SISD staff and administration. Sweetwater Backpack Buddies is a local group of concerned parents and citizens organized by Leah and Alaina Andrews.
