Rattlesnake Relays is today

Sweetwater High School hosts its Rattlesnake Relays track meet today at the SHS track field.
The meet has four divi-sions: varsity girls, varsity boys, JV girls and JV boys. Field events are scheduled to begin at 3:45 p.m.; run-ning finals begin 45 minutes after the completion of field events.
In addition to Sweetwater, Ballinger, Clyde, Merkel, Snyder and Vernon are also entered in both varsity divisions and Stamford is also in the varsity girls division.  Those schools also have en-tries in the JV boys division and Snyder and Clyde are also in the JV girls division.
Both Sweetwater varsity teams competed at Wylie’s track meet this past Satur-day. Results follow:
VARSITY GIRLS
65 points (4th place)
200 — Kendra Crosson 4th (28.03)
400 — Dedra Brown 2nd (1:04.60); Kathleen Camp-bell 4th (1:08.26)
100 hurdles — Carly Johnson 5th (17.20)
300 hurdles — Jayci Shelton 2nd (48.83); Kinsey Browning 4th (52.11)
400 relay — 5th (54.74 — Ashley Kincheloe, Kelsi Crosson, Suede Shirley, Kendra Crosson)
800 relay — 1st (1:50.58 — Morgan Young, Kinsey Browning, Janell Walker, Jayci Shelton)
1600 relay — 4th (4:20 — Morgan Young, Kinsey Browning, Janell Walker, Jayci Shelton)
Discus — Alicia Finn 6th (87-0)
Triple jump — Kinsey Browning 6th (32-2)
Pole vault — Morgan Runge 6th (7-0)
