Roscoe council to meet today |

The Roscoe City Council is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. today at Roscoe City Hall. The agenda includes hearing from department heads and receives updates on the city park, WWTP and TCEQ.
The council will consider: granting approval to the Roscoe State Bank for an awning to extend beyond the west property line onto city property; approval of the second quarter investment report; the adoption of a resolution deeding Lot #4, Block 16, of the original town as outlined in the deed of records, Vol. 12, page 599 to the Roscoe State Bank; and the approval of an ordinance amending the existing gas franchise between the city and the Atmos Energy Corporation.
The council will also go into executive session pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code to consult and seek advice from its attorney on possible election changes before reconvening to discuss and take action, if any, on the items discussed in executive session. |
