Walter "Fred" Wilson

Funeral services for Walter "Fred" Wilson, 84, of Sweetwater, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Kary Frye officiating. His body will be cremated under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Wilson died Monday, Nov. 11, 2013 in Sweetwater. He was born April 6, 1929 in Mayetta, Kan. He married Anne Williams on July 29, 1995 in Denver, Colo.
Walter loved the Alcoholics Anonymous organization. He loved motorcycles and trucking and he loved to travel. Walter loved his children and grandchildren, and also his dog "Frankie." He loved to read and listen to country music, especially Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter. He also loved poetry.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Wilson of Sweetwater; sons, David Bruan Wilson of Orange County, Calif., and Anthony Blake Wilson, Sr. of Palm Springs, Calif.; daughters, Kelly Michelle Wilson of Fullerton, Calif., Fawna Lea Smith and husband Patrick of Desert Hot Springs, Calif. and Ruby Jolene Wilson of Sky Valley, Calif.; step children, Jesse Martin Neri and wife Ellen of Gathersburg, Maryland, Jerome David Neri of Grand Junction, Colo., Jennifer Beth Prado and husband J.P. of Conifer, Colo. and Terry Lynn Brown of Minneapolis, Minn.; 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Geraldine Fern Wilson on Oct. 5, 1991; son, Michael Jean Wilson; daughter, Linda Marie LeMaster; his parents; two sisters; and two brothers.
