Wanda Faye Dunn

Wanda Faye Dunn was born on April 16, 1934, in Loraine, Texas. She passed away on Nov. 22, 2011, at Rolling Plans Memorial Hospital at 77.
Wanda graduated from Roscoe High School and devoted much of her life as a homemaker and later in life enjoyed working at Motts in Sweetwater, Texas, helping customers with fabrics and sewing notions.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Martin and Faye Martin; and brother, Robert Martin, Jr.
She is survived by husband James (Buster) Dunn; daughter, Kay Hunter and husband Mike; daughter, Terri Griffin and husband Jeff and son, Hank and wife Jeana; brother, Winford Martin and wife Roseann; sister-in-law, Barbara Martin; grandsons, Shane Hunter and wife Maegan, Clint Hunter, James Dunn, Bradley Dunn and Tyler Griffin; granddaughter, Audrey Griffin; great-granddaughter, Ever Grace Hunter; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Wanda and her husband Buster enjoyed 58 years of marriage. She instilled her values and integrity in her children and grandchildren. Her passion and support of the military will always be remembered, as was her love of reading.
The family would like to extend a special thank you for her caregivers from Hendrick Hospice Care. They would also like to thank the wonderful nurses and doctors of Hendrick Medical Center and Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital and family friends, Patsy and Steve Hagerman.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater, Texas. A private burial will follow at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene. Her treasured grandchildren will be Honorary Pallbearers.
