Wilkins recognized by WASP Museum

October 3, 2012

C.S. Wilkins and Sharron Davis

Sharron Davis, WASP Museum Director, recently presented a replica Silver Wings pin to C.S. Wilkins, a founding board member of the National WASP WWII Museum at the Colorado City ISD Wall of Honor Ceremony.
Mr. Wilkins, a graduate of Colorado City High School was honored for his meritorious military service and other outstanding achievements. As a young high school student, C.S. would hitch-hike from Colorado City to Avenger Field to watch the WASP in training there and was inspired by them to become a pilot himself.
