Woman’s Forum raises over $1,700 for museum

The Woman's Forum holiday shopping spree, which was held from November to December of 2011 has raised a total of $1,734 after awarding the winner, C.J. Hubbard $500. The Pioneer Museum will receive $867 and the Woman's Forum Civic Improvement and Beautification Fund will also receive $867. One of the Woman's Forum's two main projects is the Pioneer Museum. In the past five years, the Woman's Forum has had several fundraisers and has donated a total of $6,584. Each Woman's Forum member sold tickets and for the first time this year, tickets were sold at the Sweetwater Elks Christmas Arts and Crafts Show with great success.
