ABILENE, TEXAS âOn Tuesday, December 18, 2012, Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas Board, presented a check in the amount of $1,300.00 to Cancer Services Network.
October was National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas held luncheon events on October 25th and 26th. Workforce staff purchased t-shirts and made donations based upon the best âhomemadeâ hot sauce. Donations were also accepted for other miscellaneous items. The Center staff raised $1,300.00 during the two-day event, and 100% of the money was donated to the local Cancer Services Network to assist with mammography screening.
