Wreck shuts down parts of Lamar

A wreck on the 1400 block of Lamar Street
Over the weekend, Sweetwater emergency services personnel responded to a wreck on the 1400 block of Lamar Street. A Ford Mustang was reportedly driving south on Lamar when it lost traction and struck the telephone pole. The south bound lanes of Lamar were shut down for a little while as they removed the car and replaced the pole. There were no serious injuries reported.
