Meetings set to discuss Camp Boothe Oaks |

An open forum meeting for those interested in Camp Boothe Oaks will be held Saturday and Sunday. The meeting is for those who want to help with camp programs and would like to bring a troop and camp at Booth Oaks.
“If you have any questions or concerns or interests, we want to hear them,” said Summer Littlejohn. “We will also have applications available if you are interested in helping at Camp Boothe Oaks this year.” The Saturday meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Girl Scout office on N. 1st Street in Abilene. The Sunday, Jan. 28, meeting will be held from 2-4 p.m. at the Sweetwater Lions Club building, located at 1510 Lamar. The facilitators will be Marianne Thompson, director of programs; Littlejohn, outdoor program specialist; and Lori Mears, Camp Rio Blanco director.
