Roscoe’s girls team was district champion and had three of the top six individual runners — Wilkinson, who was second (13:08); Cisneros, who was third (13:14); and Solis, who was sixth (13:30). Moore was fourth in the boys race.
For the JV girls, Bergan Trevino was third, Magali Casas fifth and Shirley Sanchez sixth. For the JV boys, Adam Pope won first place and Jetly Hobdy took second place.
In the junior high division, Roscoe was the district runnerup at its meet with both its boys and girls teams. Individually for the junior high boys, Jose Ortega was fourth, Tagen Adkins sixth and Jayden Gonzales eighth; and for the girls, Ashley Maestas finished sixth, Bonnie Wilkinson seventh and Madison Mims ninth.
