Texas State Technical College Sweetwater campus will again play host to the annual Nolan County Health Fair. The event, which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Student Center, will feature approximately 40 Big Country area vendors.
Healthcare representatives from organizations such as Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital, the Big Country Medical Reserve Corps and the West Texas TSTC Department of Nursing are scheduled to attend, and will be on hand to offer free basic medical screenings including blood glucose and cholesterol levels, ECG’s and blood pressure.
Various public safety agencies such as the Texas Department of Transportation, the Department of Aging and the Sweetwater Fire Department will also be in attendance.
