FORT WORTH — Malcolm R. Mulanax, 56, passed away Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous six-year battle with cancer. His strength and humor carried us throughout the fight.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, at Eagle’s View Church in Saginaw. Interment will be at 1 p.m. at Mount Olivet Cemetery. on Thursday prior to the funeral. Arrangements are under the direction of Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Malcolm worked as a loss prevention auditor for O’Reilly Auto Parts, Coca-Cola Corporation and Sweetwater Auto Parts. He loved the Lord and was a devoted husband and father. We will miss him every day and we will each strive to live a life he would be proud of. In faith we wait for the day our family will be reunited in heaven.
Heartfelt thanks to the staff and members of Eagles View Church and to all those who faithfully prayed for Malcolm and our family throughout the years.
Malcolm was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Deauquier.
Survivors include his wife, Jill; children, Jennifer Malone and husband Derek, Cameron Mead and Jordan Mulanax; parents, Jesse and Patricia Mulanax; siblings, Carroll Mulanax and wife, Frances, Leonard Mulanax and wife Deborah, Rhonda Wilks and husband Randy, Shari Carrell and husband Todd; and numerous nieces and nephews.
