The 2nd Annual Ridin' For Cash Bull Bash was once again "an amazing event," according to event organizers Matt and Annie Miles. "We are so proud of our home town for all of the support." According to Annie Miles, there were over 1,500 people that came through the front door of the Nolan County Coliseum for the event this year, with last year's total being 1,000. "We raised $11,026 total through tickets sales and the silent auction, among other things. Last year we raised $5,714," said Miles." We also had a great turn out for the dance that followed the event, with about 400 people."
This is the first year that the Bull Bash featured a dance and Lawless Flatz provided the live entertainment at the dance. This was also the first time the Bull Bash had a silent auction and it was a "total success," raising $3,725.
"The event would not have been possible without our 100 plus volunteers, 40 sponsors and 80 silent auction sponsors! The volunteers worked so hard to make the event go smoothly and perfect," said Annie Miles.
The winners of the events were as follows:
Mutton Bustin' — Brandon Loveless, age 6 . He won a Silver Buckle made by Son of a Gun Silver in Odessa, Texas and a custom made pair of chaps from D.T. Sorrells in Sweetwater.
