The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 44 calls for service, issued six citations and made two arrests on April 25, 2011.

The SPD received 17, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Criminal mischief — 600 block of W. Ave. D.
• Criminal mischief — 1000 block of Hickory.

Arrested by SPD:
• Male juvenile — Disorderly conduct.
• Gerald McDonell, Jr., 35 — Warrants.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had nine calls for service, served six civil papers and made one arrest on April 25, 2011.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Lateasha Denise Veal, 37 of Sweetwater — Warrant/bond forfeiture.
Calls for service:
• Prisoner transport — Middleton Unit.
• Prisoner transport — Taylor County.
• Traffic hazard — I-20 MM 258/259 east bound.
• Suspicious person — CR 119.
• Information only — 6th, Roscoe.
• Stray livestock — South Highway 70.
• Stranded motorist — I-20 MM 252 west bound.
• Vehicle accident — CR 247.
• MHMR transport — Midland.

Total in Custody: 38

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to nine ambulance calls and two fire calls on April 25, 2011.
• Eight in the city of Sweetwater.
• Three in the county.
