The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 50 calls for service, issued two citations and made three arrests on June 16, 2011.

The SPD received 30, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Indecency with a child — 700 block of Hill.

Arrested by SPD:
• Rita Chase, 55 —Warrants.
• Michael Gutierrez, 18 — Warrant.
• Stephen Getty, 56 — Disorderly conduct.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had nine calls for service, served four civil papers and made no arrests on June 16, 2011.

Calls for service:
• Traffic stop — I-20 MM 238.
• Fire — W. Alabama.
• Vehicle accident — CR 105.
• Close patrol — CR 296.
• Cruelty to animals — CR 274.
• Prisoner transport — Plainview.
• Criminal mischief — North Highway 70.
• Suspicious vehicle — FM 1170.
• Vehicle accident — I-20.
