If you’re not doing anything Monday night, Feb. 20, you might consider heading over to Emmanuel Fellowship Church located at 1419 Hailey Street for what’s sure to be a fun night. The Christian rock alternative band A Road Less Traveled from Lubbock, TX will be performing a free concert for all ages. A Road Less Traveled is moving boldly forward to become a legitimate rising star in 2012 with new single release and music video of “Break My Fall” set for Feb. 23.
In 2009, A Road Less Traveled joined the “Rock What You Got Tour” with Superchick, Stellar Kart and Article One and in 2010 the band joined Hawk Nelson and Group 1 Crew for the spring leg of the “Live Life Loud Tour.” 2011 has been full of numerous shows and concert festivals, with a good majority to the time spent writing and recording new music. To learn more about A Road Less Traveled and their ministry visit them online at www.aroadlesstraveledmusic.com.
Also joining Monday’s concert will be a local band made up of some Sweetwater youth called Hello December. The night is going to be a unique mix of worship and rock that you don’t want to miss. It all starts at 7 p.m. For more information on this free even visit www.efcsweetwater.com [3] or call the church office at 236-9200.
