The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 37 calls for service, issued four citations and made two arrests on March 12, 2012.

The SPD received 8, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Theft — 1400 block of Hailey.

Arrested by SPD:
• Jerry Meeks, 50 — Public intoxication third or more offense/criminal trespassing.
• Joshua Maxwell, 17 — Injury to elderly/disabled and public intoxication/unauthorized use of a motor vehicle/resisting arrest.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had nine calls for service, served no civil papers and made five arrests on March 12, 2012.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Joshua Logan Baldwin, 24, of Hermleigh — Scurry County warrant/deadly conduct.
• Elizabeth Christina Hanneman, 32, of Sweetwater — Judgment.
• Mark Abbe, 33, of Sweetwater — Seminole Municipal Court warrants/expired driver license and failure to appear.
Arrested by DPS:
• Carolina Ramos, 32, of Odessa — Ector County warrant/theft.
• Danny Orozco, 26, of Odessa — Driving while license invalid with previous conviction or suspension.

Calls for service:
• Suspicious vehicle — I-20/FM 1856.
• Close patrol — E. Bradford Lane.
• MHMR transport — Austin.
• Escort — Budget Inn.
• Prisoner transport — Middleton Unit.
• Close patrol — CR 247.
• Court Bailiff — 32nd Judicial District Court.
