The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 41 calls for service, issued two citations and made one arrest on April 2, 2012.

The SPD received 18, 911 calls.

Accidents:

Calls for service:
• Theft — 600 block of Jack Lambert.
• Counterfeit money — 400 block of NE Georgia.
• Assault — Sweetwater.
• Theft — 400 block of NE Georgia.
• Criminal mischief — 500 and 600 block of E. Oklahoma.
• Criminal mischief — 600 block of Jack Lambert.
• Criminal mischief — 800 block of E. 16th.

Arrested by SPD:
• Justin Ramirez, 24 — Public intoxication.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had nine calls for service, served no civil papers and made two arrests on April 2, 2012.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Joshua Lee Lopez, 29, of Sweetwater — Warrant/motion to revoke probation.
• Clinton Gerard McVay, 39, of Sweetwater — Family violence assault causes bodily injury/household member, two times within 12 months.

• Information only — N. I-20.
• Suspicious incident — Wastella.
• Domestic disturbance — Broadmoor.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 259 west bound.
• Theft — FM 1170.

• Stray livestock — South Highway 70.
