Bryan Studdard has recently been promoted to Executive Vice President/Senior Loan Officer of the Roscoe State Bank along with being elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Bank.
Studdard has been with the Bank since August 1996. John Jay, President/CEO of RSB, praised Studdard’s performance stating, "Bryan has done an outstanding job for our Bank for over 15 years serving in various capacities and is well deserving of this promotion. Since 2006, he has served the Bank as Senior Loan Officer, with the responsibility of overseeing all lending activities at our 3 locations. He has done an extraordinary job of managing our loan portfolio throughout the recent economic downturn and been an integral part of making Roscoe State Bank the fastest growing Bank in Nolan County and helping the Bank reach its strategic goals. I am very proud of Bryan and the contributions he has made to the Roscoe State Bank”.
Bryan stated, “Words cannot begin to express my sincere appreciation to John and the Board for promoting me to Executive Vice President and for their support as I continue my role as Senior Lending Officer. My accomplishments are a reflection of a quality lending staff and dedicated employees who are committed to serving our customers and communities at the highest level.”
Studdard went on to say, “Being asked to join the Board of Directors is such a great honor and very humbling, especially with the caliber of people currently serving the Bank in this capacity.”
Jared Monday, who has been with the bank since 2008, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President/Information Technology of the Roscoe State Bank.
John Jay, President/CEO of the Roscoe State Bank, praised Monday’s work stating, “Jared has done a remarkable job since taking over our IT department. Through his guidance and technical expertise, we now offer state of the art bank technology products, with real time functionality, such as internet banking, online bill pay, a robust mobile banking platform with iPhone apps (soon to have Android apps as well) and text message alerts, while also ensuring proper online/internet banking security measures are in place to protect the Bank and our customers.
“I am excited at how our IT department has evolved under Jared’s leadership, the impact it has had on our recent growth and the growing contribution it will have on our future growth.”
Mr. Monday expressed his appreciation to Mr. Jay and the Bank, saying, “I’m happy to be part of such a great organization that’s growing and to be part of a family-oriented staff. The promotion is a privilege, and I look forward to the future at Roscoe State Bank.”
Kevin Blackwell has been promoted to Assistant Cashier of the Roscoe State Bank and will continue to be responsible for supervising the operations/bookkeeping areas of the Bank.
“Kevin has been with the Bank since 2008 and the Bank, with its 3 locations, has grown by almost 50% since Kevin came on board,” stated John Jay, President/CEO of the Roscoe State Bank, “and we have greatly expanded our product line through cutting edge technology based products which has created unique challenges for our internal Bank operations.
“Kevin has been instrumental in helping the Bank address these challenges while also overseeing the daily deposit operations of the Bank. I am very proud of Kevin and his accomplishments at RSB and look forward to working with him to meet the challenges that lay ahead as we continue to grow.”
Mr. Blackwell shared, “It is a great honor to be recognized with this promotion. I appreciate the Board’s confidence in me and I look forward to the new challenges that we will face in the banking industry.”
