Two entered guilty pleas during 32nd Judicial District Court on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. The cases were prosecuted by District Attorney Ann Reed and Assistant District Attorney Barrett Thomas. Judge Glen Harrison presided over the cases.
Malcom Xavier Black, with attorney, Jacob Blizzard, pled guilty to prohibited substance in a correctional facility, a third degree felony. For his plea, Black received three years of community supervision and will have to pay a $2,000 fine, $309 in court costs and $500 in attorney's fees. He will also have to serve 160 hours of community service.
Marcos Aguilar, with attorney, Jeffery Galbreath, pled guilty to driving while intoxicated, a third degree felony. For his plea, Aguilar received four years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, probated for four years. He will also have to pay a fine of $2,000 and $484 in court costs. He will also have to serve 10 days of mandatory jail time at the Nolan County Jail and have his driver's license suspended for two years. He will also have to serve 160 hours of community service.
