The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 43 calls for service, issued eight citations and made two arrests on Oct. 15, 2012.

The SPD received 18, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Burglary of a habitation — 1400 block of Ragland.
• Criminal mischief — 100 block of W. Third.
• Assault — 800 block of E. 16th.

Arrested by SPD:
• William Clark, 28 — Possession of marijuana/theft/possession of controlled substance in correctional facility.
• Billy Opry, 47 — Warrant.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 10 calls for service, served three civil papers and made one arrest on Oct. 15, 2012.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Israel Perez, 28, of Odessa — Warrant/motion to revoke probation.

Calls for service:
• Traffic hazard — I-20 MM 257 east bound.
• Court Bailiff — Nolan County Court at Law.
• Welfare concern — I-20 MM 245 east bound.
• Stray livestock — I-20 MM 247 east bound.
• Vehicle accident — I-20 MM 259 east bound.
• Stranded motorist — I-20/Highway 84 west bound.
• Welfare concern — CR 222.
• Welfare concern — E. 13th, Sweetwater.
• Suicide threat — Abilene.
• Stranded motorist — Highway 153.
