The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 63 calls for service, issued eight citations and made two arrests on Oct. 18, 2012.

The SPD received 23, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Theft — 600 block of E. Third.
• Theft — 200 block of Lamar.

Arrested by SPD:
• James Schorer, 49 — Public intoxication.
• Alex McCoy, 21 — Warrants.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 10 calls for service, served one civil paper and made one arrest on Oct. 18, 2012.

Arrested by DPS:
• Jesus Muñoz Velasco, 26, of Arlington — No driver’s license (when unlicensed).

Calls for service:
• Stray livestock — CR 147.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 230 east bound.
• Welfare concern — I-20 MM 232 west bound.
• 911 hang up — CR 109.
• Stray livestock — I-20 MM 251.
• Suspicious incidents — CR 214.
• Fire — W. Arizona.
• Criminal trespass — South I-20.
• Stray livestock — Highway 70.
• Reckless driver — Highway 84.
