Loraine — Mr. Isaiah “Ike” Williams, age 76, of Loraine, died Monday morning in an Abilene Hospice. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, in the First Baptist Church in Colorado City with Revs. Kenneth Burns and Robert Carey officiating. Burial will follow in the Loraine Cemetery under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Williams was born Jan. 1, 1936, in Maysfield, Texas to Dave and Rosetta Sadler Williams. He married Etta McPeters on June 13, 1950, in Loraine. She preceded him in death on Nov. 11, 2008. He was a mechanic and a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by four daughters, Rita and husband, Billy Ray Robinson of Sweetwater, Michelle Williams of Midland and Trena Williams of Loraine and Linda McPeters of Sweetwater; nine sons, Isaiah and wife, Betty Williams of Sweetwater, Jossell and wife, Jennifer Williams of Loraine, Dave and wife, Andra Williams of Tyler, Tommy Williams of Fort Worth, Ricky Williams of Abilene, Tony and wife Chrystal Williams, Melvin and wife, Tera Williams and Leonard Ray and wife, Rita all of Loraine and Anthony and wife, Anita of Belgium; two sisters, Beverly Pennye of Abilene and Daisy Manners of Cameron; a brother, Horace Williams of Plainview; 46 grandchildren; and 46 great-grandchildren.
He is also preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Cleon Williams and Cecil Williams; a daughter, Christina Williams; a sister, Leola Haden; and four brothers, Isaac Williams, Lewis Townsend, Joe Williams and Melvin Williams.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 at the funeral home.
Services are under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
