The Roscoe girls basket-ball team lost at Hawley, 48-46, on Tuesday.
The contest was tied up 31-31 after three quarters, but Hawley outscored the Plowgirls 17-15 in the final period. Roscoe (4-2) was paced by Mirian Solis’ 11 points while Faith Boren and Carolina Perez had nine points apiece.
Roscoe’s girls and boys will begin play at Robert Lee’s three-day tournament today, and several other Nolan County teams will also be in tournaments. Blackwell begins its Oak Creek Classic that also has Highland’s varsity boys and JV girls; Sweetwater’s var-sity girls and boys are at Ballinger; and Highland’s varsity girls are at Bronte.
