The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 33 calls for service, issued one citation and made five arrests on Dec. 10, 2012.

The SPD received 15, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Sexual assault of a child — Sweetwater area.
• Burglary of habitation — 1600 block of E 12th.
• Burglary of building — 700 block of E Third.
• Unauthorized use of a vehicle — 2600 block of E Broadway.

Arrested by SPD:
• Matthew Williams, 24 — Failure to register as sex offender.
• Male juvenile, 16 — Aggravated assault with deadly weapon.
• Raven Vera, 26 — Warrants.
• Paul John Casteneda, 24 — Warrants.
• Keri Reynolds, 23 — Possession of marijuana/unlawful carrying of weapon.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had 11 calls for service, served no civil papers and made no arrests on Dec. 10, 2012.

• Vehicle accident — I-20 MM 261 E/B.
• Information only — E Third St.
• Welfare concern — I-20 MM 221.
• Domestic disturbance — N HWY 70.
• Medical emergency — Plano, Blackwell.
• Stray livestock — FM 608/HWY 84.
• Inmate transport/MHMR — Abilene.
• MHMR transport — Big Spring.
• Stranded motorist — S HWY 70/Bradford Lane.
• Assist SWPD — CR 117.

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to eight ambulance calls and three fire calls over the past 24 hours.
• Four ambulance calls in the city of Sweetwater.
• One fire call in the city of Sweetwater.
• Three ambulance calls in the County.
