The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 49 calls for service, issued two citations and made three arrests on Dec. 19, 2012.

The SPD received 20, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Counterfeiting — 500 block of E. Broadway.
• Counterfeiting — 1000 block of Lamar.

Arrested by SPD:
• Steven Orona, 20 — Family violence assault.
• Thomas Castillo, 35 — Warrants.
• Mark Abbe, 34 — Warrants.
The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had nine calls for service, served one civil paper and made one arrest on Dec. 19, 2012.

Arrested by NCSO:
• Jimmy Tanner McGlothlin, 20, of Roscoe — Driving while intoxicated.

Calls for service:
• Stranded motorist — Highway 84.
• Suspicious person — CR 134.
• Civil problem — CR 137/CR 171.
• Medical transport — Nolan County Health Department.
• MHMR transport — Henderson Street.
• Close patrol — Lake Trammell.
• MHMR transport — Midland.
• Assist DPS — I-20 MM 239.
• Suspicious vehicle — FM 1230 and I-20.

Total in Custody: 39

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to five ambulance calls and no fire calls over the past 24 hours.
• One ambulance call in the city of Sweetwater.
• One ambulance call in the city of Roscoe.
• Three out of town transfers.
