The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 40 calls for service, issued one citation and made no arrests on Jan. 31, 2013.

The SPD received 16, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Burglary of a habitation — 200 block of E. Avenue B.
• Family violence assault — 100 block of Alexander.
• Disruption of classroom — 300 block of Lamar.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had five calls for service, served no civil papers and made two arrests on Jan. 31, 2013.

Arrested by RPD:
• Gustavo Rivas Villa, 19, of Roscoe — Accident involving damage to a vehicle.

Arrested by DPS:
• Brianna Fierros, 17, of Sweetwater — Consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Calls for service:
• Medical transport — E. Arizona.
• Information — Front Street and Cypress Street, Roscoe.
• Reckless driver — SW Railroad, Blackwell.
• Cruelty to animals — SW Railroad, Blackwell.
• Reckless driver — I-20 MM 235 east bound.
