The Sweetwater Police Department (SPD) received 49 calls for service, issued eight citations and made one arrest on Feb. 6, 2013.

The SPD received 17, 911 calls.

Calls for service:
• Family violence assault — 1200 block of Ragland.
• Runaway/criminal mischief — 1900 block of Bristol.

Arrested by SPD:
• Chad Parsons, 19 — Warrants.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) had seven calls for service, served no civil papers and made five arrests on Feb. 6, 2013.

Arrested by NCSO:
• David Leon Archer, 44, of Sweetwater — Warrant/motion to revoke probation.
• Michael Wayne Diggs, 27, of Sweetwater — Warrant/assault causes bodily injury family/household member two or more incidents within 12 months.
• Benjamin Lee Mendez, 31, of Santa Anna — Warrant/burglary.
• David Allen Claxton, 33, of Merkel — Warrant/capias pro fine.
• Andrew Alexander Moran, 31, of Corpus Christi — Judgment.

Calls for service:
• Theft — CR 208/CR 258.
• Prisoner transport — Coleman.
• Welfare concern — FM 2035.
• MHMR transport — Abilene.
• Alarm — W. Bradford Lane.
• Close patrol — Ash Street, Roscoe.
• Suspicious person — Oak, Roscoe.

The Sweetwater Fire Department responded to five ambulance calls and one fire call over the past 24 hours.
• Four ambulance calls in the city of Sweetwater.
• One fire call in the city of Sweetwater.
• One out of town transfer.
