Sweetwater ISD held a Red Run on Monday morning to help start the school year off strong. Faculty and staff members, as well as students and community members were invited to the 8 a.m. run.
All who attended showed their school spirit by wearing red and white. Dye stations were set up along the route to throw red powder at the runners, covering them head to toe by the end of the race.
Shown, Superintendent Terry Pittman spoke briefly before the start of the run.
