APPLAUSE Presents Western Heritage Art Show and Concert at SMA This Weekend

Asleep at the Wheel will be presented in concert on Saturday, November 3 at 7:30 at Sweetwater Municipal Auditorium, 400 Locust in Sweetwater. The popular group highlights the APPLAUSE Series’ Western Heritage event for the 2018-2019 season. Tickets can be purchased at the door or from the Chamber of Sweetwater and Nolan County. In addition to the Asleep at the Wheel concert in the Auditorium, there will be a Western Heritage Art Show featuring 10 Western artists in various mediums, including paintings, etchings, sculpture and “recycled” art. There will be fine art by Bill Worrell, Barry Arthur, Mike Maloney, Larry Cornoyer, Billy Joe Jay, Ancel E. Nunn, Jim Callendar, Curt Zane, H.C. Zachery, and Pat K. Hawley.
The art show will be opened at 6 pm and after the concert.
It will be in the Jo and Tom Henderson Gallery on the south side of the Auditorium at 201 Fourth Street.
The art show will also be opened Sunday, November 4 from 2 to 4 pm. There is no admission charge for the art show.
