On Friday morning the BCCHA (Big Country Cutting Horse Association) occupied the Nolan County Coliseum and the new covered arena to host a rodeo for the entire weekend. Move-ins for the rodeo began on Thursday and it gave time for the riders to prepare their horses, move them into the stalls and get some practice in before competition began.
On Friday morning, competition began at 8 am. The events of BCCHA sponsored rodeos focus on the keeping the practice of horse cutting pure and vital in today’s rodeo industry. Some events practiced at the rodeo this weekend were mostly cutting, roping and barrel racing respectively.
