Saturday’s Toy Drive at Sweetwater’s Wal-Mart was a success this year. “We couldn’t have don’t it without the Sweetwater Fire Department and KXOX Radio,” said Goodfellow’s president Jamie Ince. “Goodfellow’s would like to thank Fire Chief Grant Madden and crew, and Richard Ferguson and KXOX for all that they did to accept toys, distribute hot dogs and information. The Boy Scouts were right in there helping as well. We, also, want to thank Nolan County citizens for their generosity to help insure a really outstanding season. Great year! Goodfellows would like to thank 4th and Elm Church of Christ for the use of their Youth Center, Brookshire’s for boxes and donations, USG employees for bikes and donations, Family RV for toys and donations, the Sweetwater Reporter for media coverage. Table sponsors during the party were Richard Ferguson’s State Farm Insurance, PFO, Gallery Furniture, Faith Fitness, Cornerstone Christian School/4th and Elm Church of Christ, Hunter Realty, First Financial Bank and the Flower Box. These were business table donors.
