Eskota Road Rail Terminal planned to open near SW

USA Rail Terminals announces the planned opening of “Eskota Road Rail Terminal” located to serve the Cline Shale, Wolfcamp and the Eastern Shelf of the Permian Basin. It is the only rail terminal location in west Texas that has the unique capability of accessing two Class 1 railroads, the BNSF and the UP. Located five miles east of Sweetwater and north of Interstate 20 on Eskota Road, this location is one of a kind for west Texas. Phase 1 will include some five miles of new track with additional track being added in later phases. The 385-acre rail park has available sites from five acres up to any amount required for lease that has access to both the UP and the BNSF rail lines. USA Rail Terminals will provide full time switching crews to interchange with either railroad. The rail park offers easy tractor trailer access to and from Interstate 20 by Eskota Road with minimal traffic. The site has the capacity to handle unit trains of 100 or more rail cars with planned total available storage of more than 1,200 rail cars. Industrial water and electrical utilities are available. Eskota Road Rail Terminal offers un-equaled rail service through two Class 1 carriers providing service companies, sand distributors, pipe distribution yards, chemical delivery yards, mining, manufacturing operations and oil transfer and storage facilities. Executive Vice President Steve Roth stated, "We are excited about bringing this facility to the Sweetwater area. We are fully approved by both the BNSF and the UP railroads, so we encourage interested parties to speak with their railroad representative and to begin studying the great logistical advantage and economic benefits shipping to/from this terminal.” For more information concerning USA Rail Terminals, contact President Jim Donnan at 936-590-0701 or by email at or Executive Vice-President Steve Roth at 325-669-8926 or by email at
