HIGHLAND — A double-digit lead late in the second quarter at home proved to be insufficient for the host team Friday in Highland’s 62-44 loss to Irion County.
The visiting Hornets rallied from their 38-22 deficit for 32 unanswered points and held on for the win to improve to 5-1. Highland’s record is now 4-2 despite getting five TD runs by Jacob Hamilton (285 yards rushing on 31 carries).
