The shows are sponsored by the Sweetwater House Concert Association.
McKenzie is a talented singer/songwriter from San Antonio. Her powerful vocals have a bit of country, folk and possess a sweet and yet, sultry sound.
“Katy’s voice takes you down an old country road,” Award-winning Nashville songwriter Sherrie Austin said.
McKenzie’s first EP, “Freedom” is available for download or streaming on various digital outlets. Her next EP will be released later this year. McKenzie is busy writing new music and touring.
As with many of the Association’s shows, this show will be benefitting a local cause.
The FREE show will be accepting voluntary donations on behalf of the National WASP WWII Museum. “What a great opportunity to enjoy a fine evening of food, fellowship, and live music, while supporting one of the greatest accomplishments in our community’s history, the home of the Women Airforce Service Pilots.” Scott Morgan said.
