ROSCOE — The games that matter are still ahead for a Roscoe team with one win so far this season.
Roscoe is now 1-4 after losing Friday, 44-28, to end non-district football play against Christoval, which is now 6-0 with the victory.
This Friday, the Plowboys visit Hamlin — the No. 1-ranked team in Class 2A, Division II until Stratford defeated them 39-6 this past week.
Roscoe then goes to No. 2-ranked Albany the following week before finally returning home to take on Haskell and Cross Plains at home to end district play.
That’s when the Plowboys hope to extend their season to the playoffs and possibly get another shot in bi-district vs. Christoval, which is in Class 8-2A, Division II while Roscoe is a member of Class 7-2A, Division II.
