Raiders are too much for S’water in non-district game at Haskell

HASKELL — Class 5A Wichita Falls Rider used a quick start to win its non-district boys game vs. 4A Sweetwater by a score of 53-41 on Friday in a game held at Haskell.
Kiante McCoy’s 15 points paced the Mustangs, whose record fell to 2-10 while Rider is now 14-2. The Raiders led 18-7 after one quarter, 31-15 at halftime and 45-27 entering the fourth stanza.
Kobe Clark had nine points, Ky Hoover seven, J.L. Solis and Daniel Avila three and Jackson Foster and Tristan Morrow two apiece for Sweetwater, which hosts Jim Ned on Monday and goes to Colorado City Wednesday for its last game before the Christmas break.
