It was a rainy day in Sweetwater on December 9th, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of SEED’s Board of Directors as they met in their monthly meeting.
Beginning the meeting, board members and those present were called to order, followed shortly be a quick prayer. Tal Fillingim, a representative from the Quality of Life project in Sweetwater, began the meeting with a breakdown of the Splash Pad project, a result of a resolution the Board passed earlier in 2019.
According to Fillingim, him and his team has been working to “meet the needs” of all those involved, whether it be SEED, Sweetwater itself, or the citizens of Sweetwater, design and progress on the Splash Pad is being made with others in mind.
Backed by a $750,000 budget and a passed resolution, the Splash Pad is all ready to be voted on and will go to a vote Friday, December 13th at 7:30 a.m.
