The Sweetwater ISD Board of Trustees met in normal concession yesterday.
The meeting began with a public forum of issues, led by Micheal Hale, DEAP teacher and avid christian. He explained the decline of our nation, the removal of christianity from our schools and how we can fix that. He followed this by exclaiming he would be teaching the Founder’s Bible to any student willing to learn it, along with the 10 commandments. This forum was followed by a panel of concerned parents addressing rumors about the Superintendent, Dr. McFarlane, attempting to be pushed out by the Board of Trustees and several teachers.
