Spouses of deployed Dyess AFB personnel treated to culinary class from TSTC’s Chef Coby

Texas State Technical College West Texas will host a special culinary class on Friday, June 29, for spouses of deployed Dyess Air Force Base personnel. The four-course gourmet meal includes blue cheese stuffed-bacon wrapped bosc pears, butternut squash soup, roasted chicken with wild mushroom duxelles and polenta and fall fruit parfait. Each of the participants will work alongside Chef Coby to create the meal. Chef Coby will share techniques, tips and answer any questions. Participants will receive certificates honoring them for their many sacrifices while their spouses are deployed. The course is free of charge to attendees.The class will take place from 5-9 p.m. at the TSTC Culinary Academy, North First and Pine Streets, in the T&P Building in Abilene with Chef Coby Baumann.
