Texas teen trying to abolish “Confederate Heroes Day”

Austin (AP) Texas is among nine states with holidays honoring Confederate soldiers and now a teenager wants to change that.
17-year-old Jacob Hale has been trying to change the holiday since he was only 13. He believes it’s more important to remember the past in an accurate and truthful way.
