Three killed in two-vehicle crash

Three people were killed after a two vehicle crash that occurred around 1:47 p.m. on Saturday, six miles southeast of Comanche.
The driver of a 1993 Dodge Dakota was traveling southeast on SH 36 while the driver of a 2003 Chevrolet pick-up was traveling northwest. The driver of the Dodge crossed into oncoming traffic where it struck the Chevrolet head-on. Both vehicles came to rest on the northwest improved shoulder facing north.
Randy Don Kite, Sr. 32, of Gustine, (driver of the Dodge); Kylee Kite, 6, of Gustine (passenger in the Dodge); and Jazmine Louise Williams, 10, of Hamilton (passenger in the Chevrolet) were pronounced dead by Judge Conie. They were all wearing their seat belts. Their bodies were taken to Comanche Funeral Home.
Randy Don Kite, Jr. 5, of Gustine (passenger of the Dodge) was transported to McLane Children's Hospital in Temple with critical/incapacitating injury. He was not wearing a seat belt.
Johnece Denette Shaw, 44, of Hamilton (driver of the Chevrolet) and Linda Rocha Sims, 50, of Hamilton (passenger in the Chevrolet) were both transported to Scott & White Hospital in Temple with serious/incapacitating injuries. They were both wearing their seat belts.
